Can You Help Me?

Members of the Albemarle Genealogical Society (AGS) do not provide research assistance, but your query can be submitted in the next electronic AGS Newsletter to see if anyone may be able to contact you with helpful information.

The Currituck County Public Library and the Dare County Library research staff provide assistance with their individual genealogy collections and some online genealogy resources.

At the July Albemarle Genealogical Society meeting, library staff partner with AGS to participate in a Genealogy Assistance Workshop to help guide you individually through available print and online genealogy resources. Click on the "Meetings" link in the top menu for more details.

During 2017, the Albemarle Genealogical Society has a genealogist on retainer to assist Currituck County and Dare County library staff with AGS paid members' inquiries if further assistance is needed by the library staff.

Please click on the "Contact Us" link in the top menu to either contact the AGS Newsletter Committee Chair or contact the library research staff of either Currituck County or Dare County. Provide your contact information and as much information as possible in your inquiry.
